A downloadable pair of adventures

This is a pair of Mausritter adventures written by Noah Lashbrooke, my nine-year-old son. They're based on adventure hooks from my setting, Whiskers in the Wind. Aside from the starting hook, it's all his own work with no input from me. The adventures are available as pay-what-you-want, and any money earned from sales goes directly to Noah.

Grave Danger

The evil magpie witch Corvessa is controlling grave spirits, and she is making them capture mice from a nearby village so she can eat the captured mice. The village mayor offers 30,000 pips for whoever can stop Corvessa. All the brave mice in the village have tried but have never returned.

Rumble & Crumble

A mole wizard is controling his kin and making them dig new tunnels for him. Unfortunately, Frondosa is on the clifs that the mole workers are digging through. All the digging is making the cliffs crumble which is destroying Frondosa.

The downloads include

  • Two trifold adventure pamphlets
  • Original artwork and typography
  • Printable maps for each adventure
  • All relevant location, creature, and character details and stat blocks

While all the locations mentioned are a part of the Whiskers in the Wind setting, you don't need to have the whole setting available in order to play these adventures.

Download for free or pay what you want to support and encourage a young tabletop creator. A comment, rating, or review would be deeply appreciated.

I dropped Grave Danger into my Frog Errant campaign because it was a surprisingly good fit for the quest my Frog Knight was on - I adjusted the spirits to be "cultists" for the purposes of the quest but kept the stats, etc. the same. Corvessa is quite a dangerous encounter for a solo frog, but if you collect some spells from the spell room it can help even the odds.

This is awesome to hear - these adventures would fit very neatly into Frog Errant!

This is really good! In Grave Danger, Corvessa's stat block and abilities are really interesting, and I can see how she'd be quite an interesting combat or encounter! Also I love the in the tree encounter list, how the 3 roll is structured. The map is also really cool, the hole where dark spirits comes from is so scary looking!

I love the premise of Rumble & Crumble, and also the name is so good! The difference in the amount of pips you can get at the Mole Wizard's house is so fun, I love that you can randomly get SO MUCH if you roll well. The different creatures you can encounter of the field sprites and the rock guardians are really interesting too, it sounds like a really cool adventure to get to play :)

Really well done, Noah, these two adventures are so cool and well designed!
