Away in a Manger

This is a one-shot adventure for Mausritter set in the nativity stable after the humans have left. It includes dark magic, proselytising pilgrims, and powerful treasure.

“Away in a manger, no crib for a bed...”

You know the song and you’ve heard the story of that fateful first Christmas night in Bethlehem. But what happened to the mice living in the stable? What was left behind for the smaller stable denizens after the humans played their part in the tale?

Find out as you journey into that storied stable and meet its residents, along with some visitors from afar - pilgrims come to worship the light from the manger and a mysterious Dark Magus from the east who traps you inside with his minions.

The people have departed the stable leaving behind treasures and magic. What will you find, what secrets will you uncover, and how will you escape?

Away in a Manger is an adventure for the Mausritter TTRPG. It can be run as a one-shot or inserted into any existing campaign. The downloads include a tri-fold pamphlet available in A4 & US Letter sizes, as well as a full sheet of item cards and a printable map for players.

This adventure introduces 6 new items, 4 new spells, and 2 new conditions.
